Background:
Smart retail is all about creating a digital shopping experience in the store. The world of retail has become fiercely competitive and traditional brick & mortar retailers need to tactically drive back the e-commerce customers back to stores. Trakomatic enables Mall operators such as Capitaland, to leverage real-time data and convert into actionable insights to drive more visitors to the malls.
Objectives and Challenges:
Within the Mall, there are different facilities for the public to engage in. The Funan Mall Team has to understand the #demographics of visitors to the Mall as well as understanding daily/weekly/monthly footfall trendings as it was crucial for them to know when the peak and non-peak periods are in order to facilitate their month to month events planning, event spaces planning, tenant mix as well as tenant performances.
